Miamisburg pool has much to offer for swimmers and splashers of all ages. There are lawn chairs around the perimeter of the pool, but they usually are filled quickly, so many people spread out their beach towels on the grassy hill(s). Head to consessions to fill up on Domino's pizza by the slice, pretzels, nachos with cheese, starbucks iced frappuccino, smoothies, or other assorted snacks. This past summer saw the addition of a splash pad, which was a huge hit with my toddler! There is a frog slide for little swimmers and two bigger slides for the bigger kids/teens/adults. Other features include a diving board and a rock climbing wall. Don't forget Sunday is residents only!
Awesome community pool with slides. Considering getting a family membership for next year.
Food is horrible and overpriced. The whole pizza was looking to purchase was out while the individual slices were dry and crusty and not worth a resale. The SOFT pretzeks were hard and horrible tasting. The whole food needs a upgrade and a price adjustment. The slushys are gross too! Waaay too sweet like someone didnt follow directions mixing it or something. On to the staff...half the staff memebers are rude while other half are fairly accommodating. The under construction splash pad is a major eye sore. Improvements definitely need to be made to this establishment.
Updates made a big change. My skin, knees, and toes all appreciate the less abrasive version of the pool bottom. It is a much nicer medium that is still not slippery at all and does not gouge layers of skin off on contact. Slides are still a blast. The staff do their jobs well. The facility is well maintained and runs smoothly. Highly recommend. It gets pretty full on the hot days though. You can't swim when there is someone within arms length wherever you go in the pool. I do wish they would let fewer people in at once on those days...
They need more chairs to accommodate guest. I went with my son and it wasn’t even that packed and there was no place to sit or leave your things safely. I’m not the type of person that like to sit on grass, so I don’t understand why they have such a large grass area. Now I remember why I don’t
Like coming here or any public pool at all.
We love this pool! There's a ton of swim area with deeper water and the tube slide is so much fun when you use the double tubes for 2 people! The food selection is pretty good as well, to be a concession stand.
I only went once this summer and overall it was a good experience. The pool is a fair size but they have it sectioned off to where there's areas for diving and a rock wall. My biggest complaint is that there's no real direction as to when it's "open swim" or when those areas are restricted. I was in the 12 foot rock walk area and I was told it was rock wall only at that time. How would you know that when your going by whistle blows?? There needs to be an information board or some more structured way to communicate swim times.
Otherwise, everything was clean, there was a couple slides, a kiddie area and a,few fountains. I will be going back next summer.
Went here a few weeks ago. Fun, clean pool. They even have a splash area for the little ones. Only problem we had was the older kids were cussing and jumping over everyone's heads regardless if they knew them. We were kicked several times by them and they never apologized. Other than that, the pool and slides were fun. They have 2 water slides.
